When can a student shop at the book fair with their family?

  • Monday at 7:30 a.m.
  • Thursday at 6:00 p.m.Correct answer
  • Friday at 3:30 p.m.
  • On their library day

Why “Thursday at 6:00 p.m.” is correct

This tests reading details in a functional text. Family Night is Thursday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., and 6:00 p.m. falls inside that time. The student has to compare the time in the answer with the time range on the notice.

Why the other answers are wrong

  • Monday at 7:30 a.m. — Monday morning is during school hours; the notice does not say families come then.
  • Friday at 3:30 p.m. — The book fair is open Monday through Thursday, so it is closed on Friday.
  • On their library day — On their library day, students shop with their class, not with their family.
