Mr. Turner: Today we are learning about water. Water can be a solid, a liquid, or a gas.

Mr. Turner: Ice is water in its solid form. It is hard, and it keeps its shape.

Mr. Turner: When ice gets warm, it melts. It turns into liquid water, the kind you can pour into a glass.

Mr. Turner: When water is heated, some of it turns into a gas called water vapor. Think about a pot of water on the stove. If it stays on the heat long enough, there is less water in the pot.

Mr. Turner: You cannot see water vapor, but it is in the air all around us.
