Isabel: Tyler, our presentation on saving water is on Friday, and we still haven't decided who's doing what.
Tyler: I was thinking I'd make the slides. I already found a chart that shows how much water a family uses in one day.
Isabel: Good. Where does most of it go?
Tyler: Showers and toilets, mostly. Watering the lawn is a big one in the summer, too.
Isabel: Then I'll write the part about things people can actually do at home, like taking shorter showers, and watering the yard early in the morning, when it's cooler, so less of the water dries up before it soaks in.
Tyler: What about the interview? Ms. Delgado said we need one real person as a source, not just websites.
Isabel: My aunt works for the city water department. I can call her tonight.
Tyler: Perfect. But she might be busy, and we need the interview done by Wednesday. I'll talk to Coach Bryant tomorrow, just in case. He takes care of the football field, so he must know a lot about watering grass.
Isabel: That's true. Let's meet in the library on Thursday at lunch and practice the whole thing once.
