Where Is Mango?
Mango is the family's orange cat. One morning, Mia could not find him anywhere.
She looked under the bed. She looked behind the couch. She even looked in the kitchen by his food bowl. No Mango!
Then Mia heard a soft sound from the laundry basket. She lifted a warm towel. There was Mango, curled up and purring.
"You found the warmest spot in the house!" Mia said with a laugh.

- Behind the couch
- Near his food bowl

Why “In the laundry basket” is correct
Mia looks in three places first, and each one is a wrong choice here. She finds Mango under a towel in the laundry basket. The student has to keep track of the places she looked and the place she found him.
Why the other answers are wrong
- Under the bed — Mia looked under the bed, but Mango was not there.
- Behind the couch — Mia looked behind the couch, but Mango was not there.
- Near his food bowl — Mia looked in the kitchen by his food bowl, but Mango was not there.
