Which animal is the teacher talking about?

  • An elephant
  • A zebra
  • A horse
  • A giraffeCorrect answer

Why “A giraffe” is correct

This tests understanding a spoken description. A very long neck, long legs, and eating leaves from the tops of tall trees all describe a giraffe. On the real test the student would click a picture; here the pictures are named in words.

Why the other answers are wrong

  • An elephant — An elephant eats leaves from trees, but it does not have a very long neck.
  • A zebra — A zebra has a short neck and eats grass.
  • A horse — A horse does not reach the tops of tall trees.
