Frozen Yogurt Bark

You will need: 2 cups of vanilla yogurt, 1 spoonful of honey, 1 cup of chopped strawberries, a handful of blueberries, a baking pan, and wax paper.

Step 1: Line the baking pan with wax paper.

Step 2: In a bowl, stir the honey into the yogurt.

Step 3: Spread the yogurt evenly across the wax paper, about as thick as your finger.

Step 4: Sprinkle the strawberries and blueberries on top. Press them down gently so they stick.

Step 5: Put the pan in the freezer for at least three hours, until the yogurt is hard.

Step 6: Break the bark into pieces and serve it right away. It melts fast!

Ask an adult to help you chop the strawberries.

The question

Choose the best answer.

What should you do right after you stir the honey into the yogurt?

  • Spread the yogurt on the wax paper.Correct answer
  • Put the pan into the freezer for three hours.
  • Line the pan with wax paper.
  • Break the bark into pieces.

Why “Spread the yogurt on the wax paper.” is correct

This tests following steps in order. The honey is stirred in at step 2, so the answer is step 3: spread the yogurt across the wax paper. The phrase "right after" is the key; every wrong choice is a real step from the recipe, just in the wrong place.

Why the other answers are wrong

  • Put the pan into the freezer for three hours. — The freezer is step 5; the fruit goes on before that.
  • Line the pan with wax paper. — Lining the pan is step 1, which comes before stirring.
  • Break the bark into pieces. — Breaking the bark is the last step, after freezing.
