Isabel: It's my turn to take care of Peanut this weekend. Ms. Perez said I can take him home.
Ethan: Lucky! What do you have to do?
Isabel: I give him fresh water and a little food every day. On Sunday, my mom will help me clean his cage.

The question
Choose the best answer.
What will Isabel do on Sunday?
- Take Peanut back to school
- Give Peanut to Ethan
- Buy food for Peanut
- Clean the cage with her momCorrect answer
Why “Clean the cage with her mom” is correct
Isabel lists what she does every day (water and food) and then one thing for Sunday: cleaning the cage with her mom. The student has to catch the day word "Sunday" and match it to the right job. Ask the student, "What did Isabel say about Sunday?"
Why the other answers are wrong
- Take Peanut back to school — Isabel does not say when Peanut goes back to school.
- Give Peanut to Ethan — Ethan only hopes to get a turn later. Isabel is not giving Peanut to him.
- Buy food for Peanut — Isabel gives Peanut food every day, but she never says she will buy food.
