The question

Choose the best answer.

Why is the telescope activity on the back field?

  • The bugs for the library come from the back field.
  • The cafeteria is too small for building rockets.
  • The gym is closed after 6:00.
  • Students must be outside to see the sky.Correct answer

Why “Students must be outside to see the sky.” is correct

This asks the student to infer a reason the poster does not give. Looking at the moon through a telescope means looking at the sky, and you need to be outdoors to do that. The other choices mix up details from the other rows or add facts that are not on the poster.

Why the other answers are wrong

  • The bugs for the library come from the back field. — The poster does not say where the bugs come from; the bug activity is in the library.
  • The cafeteria is too small for building rockets. — The rockets are built in the gym, and room size is not mentioned.
  • The gym is closed after 6:00. — The poster says nothing about the gym closing.
