The question

Choose the best answer.

What will students do right after the planetarium show?

  • eat lunch in the picnic area
  • visit the Fossil HallCorrect answer
  • build a simple machine
  • get back on the bus

Why “visit the Fossil Hall” is correct

This tests reading a schedule in order. The planetarium show is at 9:15, and the next line is the Fossil Hall at 10:15. The student has to read down the list and find the row directly below the one named in the question.

Why the other answers are wrong

  • eat lunch in the picnic area — Lunch comes after the Fossil Hall.
  • build a simple machine — The lab is in the afternoon, after lunch.
  • get back on the bus — The bus leaves at 1:30, at the end of the day.
