The question

Choose the best answer.

What should a student do if they lose their picture form?

  • Ask a friend for one
  • Stay home from school on Picture Day
  • Get a new one at the officeCorrect answer
  • Go to the library

Why “Get a new one at the office” is correct

The last sentence of the announcement answers this directly: come to the front office for a new form. Choice d is tempting because the library is mentioned, but that is where pictures are taken.

Why the other answers are wrong

  • Ask a friend for one — The announcement does not say to ask a friend.
  • Stay home from school on Picture Day — Nothing says students without a form should stay home.
  • Go to the library — The library is where second grade goes for pictures, not where forms are given out.
