Why should students write their name on their water bottle?
- So the water stays cold
- So they can win a prize
- So the teacher can fill it
- So they know which bottle is theirsCorrect answer
Why “So they know which bottle is theirs” is correct
The poster gives the rule but not the reason. The student has to think about a whole class of bottles together outside and why a name would help. Working out a reason that is not stated is an inference.
Why the other answers are wrong
- So the water stays cold — A name on the bottle does not change how cold the water is.
- So they can win a prize — The poster does not mention prizes.
- So the teacher can fill it — The poster does not say teachers will fill the bottles.
